Introduction
]
F.T Island is a new Korean group
which appeared in Spring 2007 for the first time on
the television. The success of their first release
promises a great future to them. |

History
]
F.T Island is not just a new boysband,
in this group, each member has different musical abilities
such as playing instruments. They
think their music will be their main talent through
the people's eyes and they consider it as a treasure.
Before going on their first stage, the group had already
some female fans who fell for their charms through
the TV show they had on the Korean channel M-net,
"Wanna be your boyfriend".
The groupe made its real debut on June 7th,
2007, in the M-net channel's concert "M
! Countdown". They sang two different
kind of songs, "F.T Island",
a dynamic pop/rock song, and the ballad "Sarangalhi"
(Love sick).
The next day, on June 8th, they released
their first full length album called
"Cheerful sensibility".
The title of the album shows very well the two different
sides of this album which consists in two parts, each
one created by a different producer. The first part
is called "Emotional chapter" with ballads
with a rock influence, and the second one "F.T
Island chapter" with dynamic pop/rock songs.
Nowadays, the album is still in #1 in the
M-net top 10 and the song "Sarangalhi"
became very popular. |
