25th, "Tell me" requested by the
candidates of the presidential elections
The song "Tell me" (cover of a
Stacey Q song, "Two hearts") from the new
girlsband Wonder Girls' first album was requested
by almost all the candidates for the presidential
elections for their campaign, according to the record
company JYP Entertainment. But they refused it since
the five singers have not the right to vote yet, and
they want the song to be loved by everyone without
being politicized.

22nd, Andy going solo
Andy, member of the male group Shinhwa, is
going solo releasing a first solo album which should
be released in January 2008. The title song is an
upbeat one made for winter, and this one will be revealed
in a digital form on the internet before the release
of the album.
19th, Shinhwa releases a new DVD
The Korean group Shinhwa has so many works
that a new DVD was released earlier this month, "Shinhwa
2003-2007 Music Video Collection". It contains
two discs, including 19 music videos on the first
one, and making-of or pictures galleries on the second
one. The music videos are the ones the group released
during those 4 last years, but also the solo works
for some members.

news - November 12th to November 18th ]
16th, Namolla Family's album sales worth one
billion won
The recent hip hop group Namolla Family,
who released a first single on August 16th and a first
album on August 23rd, got a great success with their
album and the title song "Saranghae (I love you)".
Even though the exact numbers will be available in
December, music experts expect the sales to go over
one billion won. They think Namolla Family is one
of the artists who can revitalize the stagnant Korean
music industry.

12th, New version of Super Junior's second
album
In the same way Dong Bang Shin Gi did with
their third korean album "'O' - Jeong.Ban.Hap",
Super Junior is now releasing a repackaged version
of their second album "Don't Don" which
was already a success. This new version includes a
DVD with many interviews, making-of and a new music
video for the second title track "Marry U"
they already performed several times.

11th, New Japanese single for Dong Bang Shin
Gi
On November 14th, Dong Bang Shin Gi (Tohoshinki
in Japan) will release a new Japanese single called
"Forever love", a ballad which is the theme
song for the CM of the jewelry VERITE, who already
released jewels for the group before. The single also
includes the Japanese version of the song "Harudal",
the theme song of the Korean drama "Air city".

9th, Dong Bang Shin Gi's Paris photobook
In September, the Korean group Dong Bang
Shin Gi went to Paris for a few days for a photoshoot.
The photobook created from this trip to France will
be released on November 20th, in an expensive but
complete
limited version containing three photobooks and a
DVD.

8th, STAR releases a special single
The female singer STAR will release a special
single called "My heart knows" containing
five tracks. The main track is a ballad, since many
people love her for her ballads. Only 1000 copies
will be released.
7th, Dong Bang Shin Gi collaborates with Koda
Kumi
The Korean
group Dong Bang Shin Gi participated for the first
time to a Japanese single main song, with the female
Japanese singer Koda Kumi. The song is called "LAST
ANGEL", and both artists have their parts in
the song, in the music video, and they perform live
performances of this song together.

7th, New Baby VOX Re.V album
The Korean girlsband Baby VOX Re.V will release
a new album in many Asian countries. The album was
recorded in four languages : Korean, Japanese, Chinese
and Thai. Baby VOX Re.V, who changed two members recently,
will hold a showcase in Japan on December 1st and
participate in a Korean-Chinese Song Festival on December
6th, in Beijin.

1st, A new single for Eun Ji Won
Eun Ji Won released a new single on November
1st after two years and a half with no release. The
title of the single can be translated "Love,
Death, Introspection". It contains five tracks,
four songs and a new version for one of them. The
main track is called "ADIOS" and features
Mister Typhoon who also participated in Eun Ji Won's
fourth album. The music is a mix between latin and
hip hop sounds. Eun Ji Won is a former member of the
group Sechskies.

29th, An American career for Yangpa
James Sun, from the American TV channel NBC,
will help the Korean female singer Yangpa to start
a career in America. He likes Yangpa a lot, and according
to him she has the qualities to have success there
: she speaks English fluently and she has an oriental
and exotic voice that American people like.
29th, V.O.S on an American TV channel
An interview filmed
nearly ten days ago will air soon on the American
TV channel NBC. The interviewer is James Sun who said
many great things about the R&B group, such has
their great harmonized voices and their similarity
with the famous American group Boys II Men. This interview
will be part of a special TV show about cultural movements
in South Korea.
29th, Who would you like to invite for your
party ?
In South Korea, the universities organize
festivals, concerts and many other activities in Autumn
and Spring. A recent poll revealed that the singer
the youngsters would like to invite the most is
the new girlsband Wonder Girls in which the members'
beauty is very appreciated. The second place was attributed
to Girls' Generation, and F.T Island got the third
place.
29th, Poppin Hyun Joon to debut in the US
The Korean singer Poppin Hyun Joon, who released
his first hip hop album in May 2007, received a proposition
from the CEO of Zoodango.com (a social network in
which take part celebrities, managers... so they are
influential people), James Sun, to debut in the US.
The reason why he was chosen is his great dancing
skills. Poppin Hyun Joon is also preparing his solo
career in China, but it shouldn't be the only country
in which he will begin activities. |
